This summer, as we celebrate 5 Years of Foundations Youth Theatre, our youngest performers are invited to step into the spotlight with Broadway Beginnings: FYT Favorites!
Designed especially for ages 5–10, this joyful morning camp introduces students to the magic of musical theatre through songs, stories, and characters inspired by some of FYT’s favorite shows from the past five years.
Campers will:
Explore imaginative storytelling and character play
Learn fun, age-appropriate musical numbers
Build movement and stage confidence
Practice teamwork and performance skills in a nurturing environment
This camp is perfect for first-time performers and young students who love to sing, dance, and pretend. Our goal is simple: build confidence, spark creativity, and help every child experience the joy of being on stage.

Showcase
Friday June 12 or July 24 at 12:00 pm (date depending on which week your student participates).
Friends and family are invited to enjoy the showcase for free. No tickets required.

This summer, Foundations Youth Theatre is celebrating five incredible years of faith, friendship, and unforgettable performances — and we’re bringing back our Greatest Hits!
Throughout this high-energy week, students will revisit favorite songs, scenes, and show moments inspired by some of FYT’s most-loved productions. Campers will spend the week singing, acting, dancing, and creating as they prepare a celebratory showcase that highlights the best of the past five years.
Students will:
Perform musical numbers inspired by FYT favorites
Develop acting skills through scene work and character development
Learn choreography and stage movement
Build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills
Grow in creativity while deepening friendships in a Christ-centered environment
Whether your child is brand new to theatre or a seasoned FYT performer, this camp is designed to challenge, encourage, and inspire students at every level.
The week will conclude with a special Greatest Hits Showcase for family and friends — a joyful celebration of five years of Foundations Youth Theatre and the incredible students who make it so special.

What to do this summer?
Whether your child has loved theatre for years or is just looking for a new activity this summer, the FYT Summer Camps are a great way to deepen their interest in performing!
Students thrive when they get to explore their love of musical theatre in a nurturing space. Amidst the diverse landscape of theatre, Foundations creates a safe environment centered on our Christian values.
Summer camps are a one-week long experience held twice a summer in a fun, high-energy experience with other students. The week wraps up with a family and friends showcase that celebrates your student's hard work and progress.
What to expect from camps
Register your student at the registration link above.
Enrollment fee is due upon registration.
For every additional sibling that enrolls there will be $10 off the total (for example if you enroll 3 students your discount total will be $20)
Registration
Drop-Off and pick-up: Students may be dropped off without a parent walking them inside. Parents of students ages 5–10 must come inside for pick-up.
What to bring: Bring a pencil, script, and dance shoes (if they have them), and snack or money for snacks. Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes that allow for movement and dancing.
Snacks & Lunch: A 15-minute snack break is built into morning and afternoon. Snacks are available for purchase for $1, or students may bring their own. Please note: all snacks must be nut-free. Students will also need to pack a sack lunch

Yes! Your student may participate in one camp per week. For example:
A student aged 5 or 6 could participate in both of the half-day camps, although the content would be the same at each.
A student aged 7, 8, 9, or 10 could participate in both of the half-day or full-day camps, although the content would be the same at each. They could also participate in one half-day camp and one full-day camp.
A student aged 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, or 16 could participate in both of the full-day camps, although the content would be the same at each.

Participation is determined by the age of the student on the first day of rehearsal or class.

There are no refunds after enrolling.

We do not require any adult involvement but we do have many opportunities for caregivers to volunteer if they so wish! A sign up genius will be sent out with the information after the show is cast!
