What to expect from classes

Every performer starts somewhere.

Some students are finding their confidence, while others are ready to build on existing skills. Our classes develop foundational skills while challenging students to grow.

Students thrive when they get to explore their love of musical theatre in a nurturing space. Amidst the diverse landscape of theatre, Foundations creates a safe environment centered on our Christian values.

Classes meet for two hours each week and help students develop skills in acting, singing, dance, stage presence, and teamwork. The season wraps up with a family and friends showcase that celebrates your student's hard work and progress.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes; auditions are required, but everyone is given a part! Our mission is to help students build their theatre skills from the beginning. We require auditions to help students learn the full process of being involved in musical theatre. At Foundations the audition process is an encouraging and light-hearted environment. Everyone involved in the process is rooting for your child and wants them to succeed the best they can! We understand this is many students’ first time auditioning and give grace when there needs to be grace given.

  • Participation is determined by the age of the student on the first day of rehearsal or class.

  • Yes, for every sibling that enrolls there will be $10 off ( for example if you enroll 3 students your discount total will be $20)

  • There are no refunds after enrolling.

  • We do not require any adult involvement but we do have many opportunities for caregivers to volunteer if they so wish! A sign up genius will be sent out with the information after the show is cast!
