About Us
Our Mission
Helping students find their love of theatre while deepening their relationship with Christ
Foundations Youth Theatre (FYT) serves as an introductory platform for students to explore their interest in music theatre. Our primary aim is not to produce extravagant musicals, but rather to foster learning and personal growth in their musical theatre abilities. Additionally, we strive to cultivate a safe environment amidst the diverse landscape of theatre, adhering to our Christian values. We want everyone who enters our doors to experience the love of Christ and to hear the gospel message.
Foundations Youth Theatre is an 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit that began in summer of 2021 with 35 students in our first summer camp and have continued with summer, fall and spring semesters now averaging 100 students per semester that are involved in shows and classes. We are so blessed and amazed at how the Lord has provided beyond our expectations!

To foster an environment that allows students to grow in their love of theatre and Christ, we ask that all students agree to the following behavioral guidelines:
I understand everyone is a vital role to the production and therefore will give my 100%.
I understand phone usage is not allowed from the time I arrive to Foundations Youth Theatre until the time rehearsal is dismissed.
I will not disrespect staff or volunteers and give them my full attention.
I will not leave rehearsal (ex; going to get a drink, going to grab dance shoes or script, going to the bathroom) unless I have asked and have been given permission.
I will treat my fellow students with upmost respect and use my words to build them up.
I understand that not upholding to any of these guidelines may result in a strike.
Strike System:
Strike 1: warning
Strike 2: chat with administrator in the hallway
Strike 3: conversation with caregiver and administrator after rehearsal
Strikes are reset each day.
If strike 3 is reached at 3 rehearsals there will be a discussion on whether or not the student can keep participating in the production.

Repeated disruptive or disrespectful behavior toward staff, volunteers, or other participants.
Failure to adhere to our Caregiver and Student Contract.
Chronic absenteeism or lack of commitment / dropping enrollment that negatively impacts rehearsals, performances, or group dynamics.
Actions that compromise the safety, well-being, or spiritual atmosphere of our programs.
Decisions regarding participation are made thoughtfully and prayerfully, with the best interests of the entire community in mind. We strive to communicate clearly and compassionately with families and individuals involved, and we welcome opportunities for restoration and reconciliation when appropriate.
